About Dr. Njagi.
LECTURER
Dr. Njagi is a health professional, a University of Nairobi, School of Medicine faculty member and a planner of healthcare programs that improves health system.
RESEARCHER
As a researcher he explores biology and risk factors in HIV and STIs infections, pregnancy and treatment outcomes in HIV and AIDS infections, and designs and implements innovative strategies to control and prevent STIs and HIV.
HEALTHCARE PROGRAMMER
Dr. Njagi is experienced in the healthcare programming industry especially in healthcare system development. He strengthens health system focusing on supply chain development, human resources development and laboratory system strengthening to ensure public access to timely, quality, reliable and affordable laboratory services.
BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Njagi serves as a board member of Goldstar Kenya, Kenya National Blood Transfusion Services Advisory Committee, Human Quality Assessment Services (HUQAS) Advisory Board, Becton Dickinson (BD) Preanalytical Systems Europe, Middle East and Africa Scientific Advisory Board (EMA-SAB) and Nyumbani Children’s Home, Children of God Relief Fund, Inc. Previously he served as a tribunal member of the HIV and AIDS Tribunal. He is a member of several professional organizations and is well published in peer reviewed journals.
